The second instalment from the Hobson wedding, after a rainy dash from Atholl Palace to Blair Castle in some gorgeous vintage cars, Claire arrived at the castle to the welcoming sound of the pipes (although young Archie didnt find it so welcoming, bless!) so the pipes ceased so to settle the young man. Leaving Claire and her father Gordon a few peaceful moments to revel in the day. During a unique ceremony, with lots of amusing tales from Chris and Claires lives together causing a full house of smiles. A lovely tradition a hand fasting was performed by a great down to earth minister, Jane Betchel. Again young Archie wanting to be involved made sure he said his piece during the ceremony, while playing cars through his fathers feet!
All in all it was a spectacular day.....to be remembered by many...

Friday 2nd December 2011
Was my birthday and thoroughly spoilt I was. Normally a day I like to take off and devote to having fun, this year due to a busier calendar, work beckoned but was still fun. Even better when I arrived home to flowers, goodies and love and laughter galore from my boys. What a welcome home, another moment I appreciated what lovely family and friends I have. Not to mention my favourite - a seafood feast prepared lovingly by my man, finished off with a home baked cake from my mama.....spoiled ;-)
~Thank you everyone~ xxx and a week later my flowers are still blooming, Im taking that as a good sign of the next year to come!

Studio Day
Last Sunday was the Paddingtons Nursery Studio Day and what a giggle it was! I love days like these with a range of ages, from babies and toddlers to their older siblings. Its great being able to clown around and encourage everyone to let their 'silly' side out so I can capture some 'real' images of them together. There were a few tears (its to be expected) but none that lasted more than a second and couldnt be talked out of. Kiddies, they always keep you on your toes! Here are a few sneak peeks from the day....

Claire & Chris Blair Castle Wedding (part 1)
11.11.11 was the date and Blair Castle was the setting for Claire & Chris' Fairytale wedding. After travelling across country in style, unfortunately Claire and her 4 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl arrived at Atholl Palace to be greeted by windy, wet weather. Undeterred, the bride was unusually calm (Well Done Claire!) in contrast to her bridesmaids, who I think were busy being nervous for her! Please feel free to leave any comments, Im sure the bride & groom love reading them as much as I do... Part 2 to follow
