Angela and Michael Pagan Wedding Blog

On Friday 11th May 2012, I had the pleasure of being invited to capture all the special moments of Michael and Angela Pagan's wedding. I have previously covered Angela's sisters wedding reception in 2011, so it was great to see some familiar faces!
Although Angela and I had been doing our 'sun dance' all week, I awoke that morning to thundery skies and the thought that the weather had different ideas, although that failed to put a dampener on any spirits of the day...

After meeting a very nervous and excited groom at Arbroath Registry Office, it wasnt long before the bride made her entrance in a stunning, vintage style dress, instantly bringing a tear to her grooms eye .

Before the ceremonies proceedings Angela took a moment to re-align her grooms attire, asking "Who dressed you this morning? - oh, yes, yourself!" this prompting a giggle from everyone.

After a lovely ceremony the couple set off in their 1930's car for their venue Queens Hotel, Dundee (still in the rain!) :-)
After some fantastic speeches, - Michael, I think James stuck you in it there! - smiles were all round, food was served. And everyone was ready to PARTY!

Here is a selection of your images from your very special day, my gift to you - a (very) early preview of some more of your images. Thanks again for inviting me to be involved in your day, I hope I have helped to create images that make you smile and capture the 'essence' of your day - Love, Laughter, Family and Friends.

PROJECT 366

Its that time of year, when we reflect on the last year and make some decisions regarding the upcoming year, things we want to change, people we want to spend more time with.
As you will all see my son (and muse) features in my blog/website regularly, so I thought I would share this years Project 366 with you all. A glimpse into my mind (warning:venture with caution! lol) and daily activities, there will be an entry for each day. I find it provides me with something more special than a journal, as these images provoke an array of emotion, thoughts and sensations of that day, that it would take me pages to fully explain or describe. I hope you enjoy these...At best these will be uploaded daily, otherwise I will upload these on a weekly basis to my blog for you to see, all comments are welcome.

Day 1. What better way to start than with an image of my very own angel...

Day 2: Rain, Sleet and More Rain........Think I'll stay here...

Day 3. The Best part of my day, was my son telling me I was a star (my heart melted) right after singing "twinkle little star" before bedtime.....what a heartbreaker he is.

Day 4.                                   The soul that can speak through the eyes can
also kiss with a gaze....Gustavo Adolfo Becquer.

Another Rainy Day + Last day of my holidays = quality time with my boys

Claire & Chris Blair Castle Wedding (part 2)

The second instalment from the Hobson wedding, after a rainy dash from Atholl Palace to Blair Castle in some gorgeous vintage cars, Claire arrived at the castle to the welcoming sound of the pipes (although young Archie didnt find it so welcoming, bless!) so the pipes ceased so to settle the young man. Leaving Claire and her father Gordon a few peaceful moments to revel in the day. During a unique ceremony, with lots of amusing tales from Chris and Claires lives together causing a full house of smiles. A lovely tradition a hand fasting was performed by a great down to earth minister, Jane Betchel. Again young Archie wanting to be involved made sure he said his piece during the ceremony, while playing cars through his fathers feet!
All in all it was a spectacular day.....to be remembered by many...

CHEERS TO CHRIS, CLAIRE & ARCHIE HOBSON!
